RMT members accept Network Rail offer!

Let's not blow too much smoke up the RMTs arse, their dispute started in June, members have given up a lot of money, and, we don't know what concessions they've made to secure the pay rise. It's also a two year deal, so it's 5 and 4.

They're still in dispute with the train operators by the way, so more strikes are on the cards.

Any offer put to CWU members would go through on a similar level of support.

The CWU members (those who have shown solidarity + a set of steel balls ) have lost a fair chunk of cash too!

They (RMT) seem to have significantly gained more now with messrs Harper in charge than the Thompson clone of shatts (shapps) in charge.

Can you supply any ideas/details of the concessions that the RMT members have sacrificed to reach this eye watering deal please?

Is it not tax payers money though that's my point a never ending pit of money.

That's the total value of the deal over 2 years I think I overheard on the radio. So it's still well below inflation, but not to be sniffed at none the less. Sunak probably won't be long in the job, but at least we have a semblance of sensible government going on at the minute again. Looks like deals are being done with most the public sector unions.
