Reading all these comments, seeing how people are fed up with CWU, leads me to think RM wouldn't want a deal right now
And how many comments on here are slagging the CWU off?
Remember RM employ nearly 120'000 people they've not all made a negative comment. That's what a Ballot is for. We'll get an opportunity to agree, or disagree, with whatever is proposed for any deal. Then you'll have your say ... again.

I didn't vote yes to the question 'are you happy with the performance of the CWU?'
We shouldn't confuse support for the union strategy with the overwhelming support for the union membership. It's chalk and cheese.
I fancy some of you always will have the "Wind in your face" and never see a positive in anything. As for the job itself, we probably need to have a change in how we as posties think in terms of achievable duties, they do want you to finish the duties just not before your finish time therefore getting full value for their money, which is fine by me but means a mindset change for all of us, gone are the days of finishing early but on the other hand gone are the days of working late unless you want to. They rely on your guilt for not finishing a duty you have finished all your RM working days to try to keep you out later, i have been through it and just said to myself "Why am i doing this" and stopped, informed my Dom/Dim that i would no longer be working over my time under any circumstances from now until i retire/leave.
I agree Scotchy. The Way Forward (No pun intended) for all of us is exactly the point you've made.
Forget about finishing early, do the job properly and finish on time. I think that'll do more to upset RM than anything else. Prove that their cocked up UNAGREED Revisions are not going to work.

I couldn’t give a flying F#&k about a deal now. Left the union, don’t get involved in the bitchin in the unit anymore..I’ve quietly quit, I arrive at work on time as I’ve always done, I then tell the Com I might struggle to complete. She normally replies “how do you know that, you’ve just walked through the door” I reply with just giving you as much notice as possible. As requested. I refuse to work overtime, I prioritise tracked as instructed, I do about 40% less steps a day compared to before them removing my duty. If I get a payrise brilliant if I don’t I’ve already budgeted for my current wage.
Life is so much more enjoyable as a quiet quitter
You seem to have found a way of working that works for you. I think it's the way to go.
Just remember they can't instuct you to Prioritise ANYTHING (except Specials). ST stood in front of a Parlimentary Commitee, under Oath, and said, "We do not proritise any particular item" My office has been bringing back Tracked since our Revision went live. No Disciplinary Action so far!
The only reason managers are TRYING to proritise Tracked Items is because it's reflected as part of their bonus. I think the lazy bastards are paid far too much already without giving them a bonus by us having to work longer/harder!

The only reason they get a bonus is so the business makes sure they are delivered promptly and so doesn't get complaints from customers and then have to pay out compensation/risk them moving their business elsewhere.

CWU really need to encourage people just to do the hours they are paid to do and not feel pressured into anything more. They need to be very clear and firm about this
