Wheens of D2D prep (indoor duty this week due to gammy knee), out to drop some mail / packets out to a delivery box for an hct walk. More D2D prep, then out to delivery some packets. I suppose it's handy I can drive RM vehicles after passing my assessment a few months ago, as an entire day doing D2D / indoor duty would be rather

A nice easy day yesterday. Hardly any mail, the sun was shining, the birds singing, a perfect day to be a postie. :Very Happy

Busy day for us in our office. My own walk plus parcels and a good sized chunk of another walk due to someone having to go home in an emergency. Long day but at least the sun was out.

Bellend partner went delivering parcels as I finished my loop, then forgot me and went on to the next park up alone. I stood waiting for ages before the penny dropped.

A steady start, and a frantic finish.

Expected to be doing a day of indoor prep / D2D prep as per fit note.

Just doing the last lot of D2D at half 11, expecting an easy finish, only for lino to ask me to nip out with a few "missed" large packets, drop a "forgotten" packet bag out to a postie on his walk, fill the hire van up and then deliver 6 specials, none of which were anywhere near each other! 20 odd miles for the 6 specials, drop packet bag off, and few large packets! here there and everywhere!

Made it home afore the rain started! :dance Lino asked if I wanted to have my work my rotad day off Thursday, and have Saturday off instead! :nana

Sitting with my heel on a ice pad, plantar facilitis, 3 or 4 months more of that and a desk job will look more appealing especially as winter approaches. :Boo hoo!
