Hi all my name is Angeli and I'm new to this site, I really need help with my parcel its coming from Thailand to the UK. Will I be able to have the options to collect my parcel when it arrives in the UK?
Or could I collect my parcel from the Hornsey DO before it goes out for delivery? Without any red card just my passport and billing papers with proof of my address?

I am afraid not, because of how the system works there is no way to intercept a parcel before delivery is attempted. Its actually against the law to do so without reasonable cause.
However, once delivery has been attempted a red card should be left and you then can rearrange delivery or collect.

I don't know if it can be used for stuff coming from abroad
You might get a grey card instead of a red card if there's any customs charges to pay
