Van sharing from Monday

At 4pm today DGSP Terry Pullinger will address the membership live on CWU Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channels on Royal Mail’s decision to reintroduce shared vans from Monday. Please can you ensure as many members as possible are online.

Just as we are seeing another rise in cases and with winter fast approaching RM decide to reintroduce van sharing.

Saved a fortune on hours making staff deliver each round every other day throughout the summer, but now Xmas is on the horizon they disregard the "reasons" they stopped the van share.

If the union supports this it could be the biggest mistake they make.
Listening to Terry last time he was very dismissive of COVID-19, this from a guy who's worked from home for six months while we've been in the middle of it.

I'm expecting an hour of fence sitting bollocks.

Surely he only needs 30 seconds to instruct his members to refuse to comply with any instruction to share a van.

Going by the timescale and lack of notice it looks like the union has had no input in this decision at all.
