I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Or face the consequences? :left:

what you going to do Terry hold another ballot or go out again on more culture visits?

Send them a strongly worded pamphlet with the four pillocks on it?

The DDA/Equality Act demands action,NOT words......adjustments NOT Occupational Health referrals.Case No:2505901/09

Terry couldn't be more detached from the day to day reality!
Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.

Seems people are not fans of the CWU based on these comments above.

Not sure there is any point in myself joining them.

I may have got the wrong impression, but they do come across a bit like salesmen. They want my membership money.

How much are you paid per hour?
How much would you be paid in a non unionised workforce.
The CWU isn't perfect but it is a lot better than nothing.
Not joining would be a mistake in my opinion.

I don't particularly like insurance companies.
I still have my house insured though...
