Day off

Post by nutt3r4 »

Been with the compamy a while now and never been in this situation. I am leave reserve so i get assigned to different walks each week. For next week I am on a duty where the day off is saturday. The manager has changed it to Tuesday. (nice of them I know). Is this allowed? Or am I fully entitled to argue the point that Sat should be my day off.

Get your rep into it, if the f***ers make a habit of this s**t when will you get your contractual equivalent of 1 in 6?
Never that's when, and the f***ers win again by ignoring agreements and no comeback on them.

My office is a shambles atm mate. Use to love the job. Unfortunatley we merged with another office.lets just say the management i am under now is questionable to put it nicely. My day off has been tuesday for the last 8 weeks. Which is wrong i know, but due to needing the money i have been working it every week, so was never a cause for concern. Its is meant to be 1 in 4 our agreement and that certainly hasn't happened. Every day now is a constant bqttle. Getting holidays credited, wages always wrong etc. The union have done very little to help.

Time to kick it upstairs to the area rep, if you'r rep's a bit s**t they may need help or a reminder of who they're supposed to represent
