Hi guys Im an ex postie now a courier for Hermes.
Just been reading on http://www.lifestylecouriers.net/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that some couriers are using the GMB to take them to court.
Anybody heard anything about this?
Im wondering if Ive jumped outa the fire into the frying pan!

Think you have mate, but with the way Moya is going we'll soon be "lifestyle couriers"

im not sure lifestyle couriers will be a job soon.
the GMB are taking Hermes to court, the HMRC are investigating them and MP Frank Field is after them as well.

Hermes offer us couriers a 'top up' insurance through QBE and it seems many think it isnt worth the paper its written on.
I refused it and got full courier insurance, but it isnt cheap!
Looks like the GMB are using the QBE against Hermes too.

I think maybe their days are numbered, wish Id found that lifestylecouriers forum before I jumped ship, it appears Hermes have bigger issues than RM

Yea I read that on lifestylecouriers forum.
Think I need to re look at some jobs.
