hi,

i,m part of the night crew at hereford, we have been told that nights are going, as part of the savings, but we are not sure when , perhaps stu if ur reading this you could tell us for sure, last night there was 7 of us on duty out of 17

, if anybody's on leave now they just lapse the jobs. so it leaves us having to cover 2 jobs each

and the managers whinge

when we cant do wat they want, is it any wonder that this job has gone down the pan

Excellent place Hereford spent about a year on and off in the 80s when I was in the forces. Is the Crystal rooms still going (I think it was called that)

Afraid not TRUEBLUE, crystal rooms has now been demolished.

Was always good to go to STICKY carpets, thats what us locals called it...

Were you at the RAF camp or Stirling lines??

Good evening all, I work at Heatrow Worldwide Distribution Centre on permanant nights and they are trying to get as many on either earlies starting at 7am or lates and have got a hidden agenda to get rid of nights, there are over 1000 staff on the floor and 650 of those are on nights and most want to stay on nights so I think there will be a fight to get us to change over onto earlies or lates.
I say fingers up to them

we know nights will be gone in this office, but its the uncertainty of it all, where are they going to put us, earlies? if so what where as they have taken on p/t workers now to help fill duties.
