dinho1 wrote:probably a daft question , but reading through the posts , i see changes happening in offices all over , from geo route or pegasus! to later strarts to full timers cut to part time.
what i am asking is , with these things already in place what happens if theres a big strike , or royal mail back down and give us our demands? do my hours stay as they are? will joe bloggs who was f/t and moved to part time be moved back?
will the pegasus and neo wotever be banished forever?
i am so concerned that with the later starts coming in , my wife willl have to pack in work as we have no cover in the school holidays! :Confused
Interesting question,any ideas.
At the moment stuff is being pushed through by exec action like in my office,if we come to a deal (Nationally) and things calm down, what happens to the stuff that has been forced in?
Agreed suff is obviously aggreed through negotiationbut what about the exec action stuff.
And all the other stuff dinho1 mentions?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Any office that has had unagreed changes forced upon them by exec action should revert back to there previous workings.ANY CHANGES LOCAL MANAGEMENT WANT TO MAKE SHOULD GO THROUGH THE I/R FRAMEWORK,this along with the pay deal and royal mails attempts to drive in change by ignoring all local and national agreements is the cause of this dispute.WE MUST MAKE SURE NO OFFICE COMES OUT WORSE OFF UNTILL A DEAL IS AGREED NATIONALLY,THAT THE MEMBERSHIP ARE HAPPY WITH.
so later starts will or could be abolished cos as a part timer im losing or will lose £256 per year in early shift allowance which basicly means i work a week free for royal mail!! :Confused i think f/t lose around £600 per yr
