Its only crap if you don't acheive it. Its quite nice when you do though. Had over £400 in the last 2 payments.

Please read post that you are quoting before commenting. I have highlighted the 2 conflicting statements.

No we upset him and now IMO he is just trolling us trying to get a bite. Best ignored but I like a challenge and I do try to keep it polite and use fact instead of his vitriol.

Primark!

I banned his IP last night,he's allowed back on now.
Any more acting the arse and he's gone for good.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Ah POSTMAN you'd end up spoiling a lot of fun for some of us if you ban him, although if you give him a health warning that may help some of the newbies

The way I understand the bonus or 'incentive scheme' is that every sale of the 11 focus products puts an amount of money into the pot, which is then divided up each quarter between the staff in that office who are eligible. Some products attract more money than others, with some based on the volume of sales, and others based on the value. I don't remember there being an element for 'achieving' anything, I understood it to be based solely on a points per sale basis, and it is also uncapped, so the more you sell, the more you take home with no limit. Perhaps I am mistaken, but that was how it worked last year, and I don't think it has changed. The Manager of each office has a bonus scheme based on the targets for each product, and it only pays out if the office hits 95% or more in each quarter, so the staff can get a bonus for selling just one single credit card for instance (although it would be a very small bonus) but the manager would get nothing. I imagine that would make quite a few contributors to this site very happy!

TBH not sure how it works with you guys,is it a case of ALL RM GROUP MANAGERS cut from the same cloth!
Over our side it's a bit of used toilet paper type cloth,we should let the POL guys respond to this one. :Very Happy

GETTING STAFF TO FORCE SELL INSURANCE OR OTHER PRODUCTS IS EMBARRASSING FOR STAFF AND SOMETHING THEY COULD WELL DO WITHOUT
IN THEIR NORMAL DAY.
TARGET SYSTEMS ARE CRAP ANYWAY.
ID LIKE TO HEAR YOU SAY SOMETHING POSITIVE INSTEAD OF RUNNING PEOPLE DOWN ALL THE TIME.
