Life Assurance Contributions on P60

Post by Spedley »

Looking at my P60 there is a box for life assurance contributions. Does anyone know what it's all about?
Is there an RM life assurance policy which is tax deductable?

there is a technical explanation at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/rpsmmanu ... 101225.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but in essence I don't think it affects us.

We used to be able to buy life assurance via RM and get tax relief on the deductions in the same way as we get it on regular pension contributions & AVC's, but I don't think they run the scheme anymore apart from maybe for those people who were already paying.
Links to all RM pension related websites are here
