Depends which one you are on about perhaps, but I had one, ummm, maybe a month-ish ago and it said I would have another update in October.

Last year it come out July or August I am sure it'll be the same this year.

Personalised benefits illustrations are not released in April at the end of the financial year but that date is when the fund gets audited and reported on. Then they work out the individual illustrations and at the same time check to make sure what they are saying is both legal and correct. With such a large Pension Fund this takes time and even the end of August would not be unheard of.

I believe you can move your pension but you will lose money from it, so it really needs to be quite a size for it to be worthwhile maybe about 50k to make it worth the effort.

You can transfer but it's generally not a very good idea to do so especially if it's into a personal/stakeholder pension.

Might be an idea to speak to an independent financial advisor before you 'jump ship'. Even in its present form its quite a good scheme compared to a lot out there. More info though can be found at http://www.royalmailpensionplan.co.uk/1/home" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; about your options for a transfer if you decide to do it.
