Fax of the matter

DX, the rival delivery service to the Royal Mail, has – in a frankly attention-seeking move – been trying to persuade the Mail’s chairman, Allan Leighton, to switch to them and avoid any inconvenience from the current strikes. I had refused to mention this; a stunt is a stunt. But I do hear that Leighton has now written back explaining that he is expecting no personal inconvenience and declining the DX offer. The response arrived by fax.

Why didn't he take up their offer :lfo

TBH if what I have heard is right its only when the Canadian Post office go on strike that his personal post will be disrupted. Apparently he has a house in Canada.

Well I work in Tewkesbury and have delivered to places where DX have'nt been seen since it started raining!!
No competition if only Al and Dozy could see it.
