Harry Potter Books - ROYAL MAIL's Major Cock-up

:nana Our office this morning received 3 full yorks of amazon and waterstones parcels, that weren't even for our area. They should have been segregated at Chester Mail Center, and distributed to their relevant D.O's. But instead they were bundled into yorks and dumped in our office. Some of the ones that were expected at our office had also gone somewhere else.

Hows that for a cock-up ? Has the same happened elsewhere ? I'd love to know ? :nana

We had two Yorks for other towns as well. Thanks to the good will of a couple of drivers, the kids got their books. Managers eh? Absolutely bloody useless!

the driver on the second lorry took some on his way back to chester, and a driver from another local office took some of the rest, but when our manager phoned denbigh office, and i quote them here, "don't bother bringing them here, we don't want them, send them back to chester, we'll get them on monday"

Bloody hell mate! And these are the people trying to score cheap points off the CWU by issuing that begging letter asking us not to strike on the release day. Bloody managers have no sense of service to the public, so no wonder that pair of dead heads at the top don't either.
