quality banner! theres also been a couple of leaflettings in support of the strike in brum outside the same post office, its really starting to bubble round here at the moment and theres widespread discontent in NHS departments and in whats left of the car industry at the ongoing attacks on wokring conditions. If were gonna have any chance of defending ourselves against these attacks were gonna have to stick together and ensure our tactics are as effective as they can be.

I couldn't agree more. Time for these union leaders to get their heads together and come up with a plan of attack.Laz wrote:quality banner! theres also been a couple of leaflettings in support of the strike in brum outside the same post office, its really starting to bubble round here at the moment and theres widespread discontent in NHS departments and in whats left of the car industry at the ongoing attacks on wokring conditions. RE:support in brum
For sure, but i think that we shouldnt rely on the union leaders too much, particularly those with good working relations with employers and the Labour Party, we have to be prepared to take up the task ourselves at a grass roots level, relying on leaders has contributed to the situation we now face.Time for these union leaders to get their heads together and come up with a plan of attack.

I couldn't agree more. They'll only do it if there is pressure from the membership, the same as always. A little more genuine democracy wouldn't go amiss.Laz wrote:For sure, but i think that we shouldnt rely on the union leaders too much, particularly those with good working relations with employers and the Labour Party, we have to be prepared to take up the task ourselves at a grass roots level, relying on leaders has contributed to the situation we now face.Time for these union leaders to get their heads together and come up with a plan of attack.
