For sure, but i think that we shouldnt rely on the union leaders too much, particularly those with good working relations with employers and the Labour Party, we have to be prepared to take up the task ourselves at a grass roots level, relying on leaders has contributed to the situation we now face.

I couldn't agree more. They'll only do it if there is pressure from the membership, the same as always. A little more genuine democracy wouldn't go amiss.
