I doubt they would sack someone for this unless their disciplinary record was poor. But! It can be classed as 'Wilful Delay' and this could result in the sack. I think we all know that it depends on the individual screw and whoever that particular screw likes or does not like. If I was your mate, I would make a note of how many frames are left with 'deads', 'D for E's' (no names - no packdrill) each day which the screws say nothing about. That way, this could be a case of victimisation by whatever screw reported the unendoresed mail.madelin4 wrote:A postperson i no is finding out soon weather or not they r getting the sack for not endorsing mail?? surley this cant be right, as i walk round frames and see other people have not done it either.. i was off on leave a week and i came back and none was done and my dom pulled me about it and asked why i hadnt done it and i had been back for 4 days!! i told him that it shud never have been there in the first place for me to come back to!!!!

Thanks iww fellow worker.. well the person in question is on a stage 3 part 2.. and was put on remand for time keeping, now i know for a fact that our dom dont like this person , but the thing is they r off sick at the min so cant really check round frames.. it just goes to show that if they want rid of a certain person they will find a way.. its no kinda job to be in with the stress that wud put on people, as soon as i find something which still pays my higher to be mortgage with these rates im outta there.. and its sad as i love the great outdoors but not the stress that goes with it..IWW Fellow Worker wrote:I doubt they would sack someone for this unless their disciplinary record was poor.
