We now deliver TNT D2Ds

Is anybody else deliverying D2Ds for clients of TNT?

In our office over the last several weeks are D2Ds have come from TNT Doorstep Media or something like that.
So we are being overpaid the market rate for delivering D2Ds according to Laurel & Hardy yet are competitors find it easier to outsource this work to the highest paid distributors......Yeah right.

Yet more bulls*it from the top.

Yes, I've noticed we're getting these. I wonder if we're getting paid less than people delivering from home because TNT have used that method in the past.

These may well be the ones that would have formed part of the "buy three - get two free" string attached to our pay deal. I only had one DTD last week - under the proposed system, would I have had to deliver that one and the next one for nothing and only be paid for numbers 3,4 and 5. I love conspiracy theory

I work in a RDC ..........WE are the ones who will lost our jobs first!..........TNT and DHL are bypassing us........ we already see the 20% lost in mail.......also the number of OPGs getting EVR and the rise in agency workers.........post man will still be able to have a job. TNT and DHL will take the easy part and ROYAL MAIL workers will do the donkey work

Why can't we bid for this work ourselves? Does RM even have a d2d sales force?
If we are unable to compete even for d2ds ourselves what future will there be for this company?

They do but the don't go and try and find work they wait for it too come in. I used to work for a Mail Order company and we had to ring about 6 weeks before we wanted D2Ds to go out and invariably the D2D date always slipped causing no end of problems for my old firm. They also charge far more than we get and the price seemed to go up every year.
