In 1922 most Italians thought Mussolini was an inspiring leader.
In 1933 most Germans thought Hitler was an inspiring leader.
Training and development? A glorified office boy reads out a prepared statement or slaps a video on once a week.
Work-life balance? Well, if you're a manager you get every Saturday off or every other Saturday off. Everyone else can just sod off.
Rewards and recognition? Phantom shares. A possible bonus if we hit a target. (A bit like those signs in pubs which say 'Free Beer Tomorrow')
Employee satisfaction? Reading the obituaries of Allan and Adam would satisfy me no end.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!

"The working class and the employing class have nothing in common."
