the Newtownards DO here in NI walked out today in a disagreement over Short & Longs. Our DOM and his assistant will be frigged on saturday as they have been told to go down there to deliver mail.

I wish staff in my office had the balls to walk out but they don't. Although it'll be fun to see if my DOM and his lackey will be sent down to deliver because they will have to come back to do my cut offs.

There is a scientific explanation called the reverse post principle.

The further up the greasy pole you go in royal mail, the weaker your backbone gets, the larger your belly gets and the further from the sorting floor the less work you do, I final part of the formula is that the further up you go the less mates you have this is infact directly proportional.

^RM = (BB-1/ST*2)+(F*2)-F(F*4)-(W/2)

The Newtownards DO are out on strike on Saturday but apparently they wanted a work to rule but the union overruled them, anybody hear anything about it.

can only think that hq refused a wtr as a clash of interest as the strike ballot was ongoing, dont think you can have two different ballots at the same time
