How safe is the mail?

Post by POSTMAN »

Seems Royal Mails penny pinching has sunk to a whole new level.
The box sent to me by an angry customer is situated in a part of SE London.
It seems the lid of the pouch box was broken for about a week but was still being used by the Postman.
In fact, the work would poke out of the top of the box and would regularly be unattended for up to 2 hours.
Eventually, instead of replacing the broken pouch box someone in their wisdom decided to do a Blue Peter job on it,and as you can see,use our bag ties to somehow keep the lid on.
Royal Mail have just had a £12.M fine upholded for not safeguarding the mail, whip round any one?

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It's called 'Tools for the Job' but the biggest 'tools' in this job are the idiots running it. Nice avatar by the way. Skinheads!
