Is the Robin App really a managers EGO masturbation app ?

It's honestly like a jerk circle on there, I feel like puking at the utter bolloxs these office keyboard twats no use to the company post.
Only went onto to it see my payslips but after login in it asks for another login that I've used before but now won't work.

I got a hold of the URL for the royal mail pay section. Added to my home screen. So I just press that and it bypasses the whole robin app.

It just looks like Facebook for RM managers etc to me, just endless posts about site audits etc, I can't imagine many people even bother to view it? I'm surprised there's been nothing recently posted regarding the pay rise.

Workplace seemed far better as you could just set it show useful company updates nobody else had told you about,

Managers posting things so their job looks relevant, wait until kretinsky brandishes the axe, it's his money their wasting now not shareholders.

I see a lot of non posties just.. not doing much at all. Taking pictures of themselves standing around or celebrating something eating cake.

If i was Daniel, i would be on the app making notes of whose job role i am going to make redundant.

Workplace was also just loads of people congratulating each other. When in reality the service was/is terrible and celebrating a new notice board is not what you should be doing whilst there's mail not being delivered daily.

The ship's band is still playing, so things must be fine. Now, if management start singing Nearer My God to Thee this December... :nervous
The machine stops.

It's because they're all sat behind their laptops, tip tapping away about how great things are.

I've noticed that a particular thread in the H&S thread about the white plastic yorks (sharp edges and unloading the packets at the bottom) doesn't receive any satisfactory replies, just waffle. They ought to try prising themselves away from their desks and try unloading them for a shift.

Probably because they all have pretend jobs that pay handsomely for actually doing the square root of f**k all.

The whole thing is a colossus waste of money. It's completely unnecessary. The People App works fine. All we need is an app that we can check our wages and holiday entitlement on. The People App did all of that just fine. The average worker at R.M has absolutely no interest in self congratulating, clipboard holding, spreadsheet manipulating managers talking shite on it. Add to that the fact that half the workforce can't get on it because there is no manual password reset option because Royal Mail don't allow it!

it's another perfect example of the disconnect of people on the ground doing the work, and those in upper management who have largely got there because of who they know, not what they know, bleeding the company of money.

If EP group want this company to be profitable and be like Amazon they're going to have to start operating like them, and that means efficiencies. Stop doing the same thing Royal Mail has done for decades pressuring delivery staff to do more, and tackle those above instead, you really do not need so many levels of managers, replicating eachothers jobs by over seeing so many regions.
