Should be a leaflet of the different types of first class stamp in your office and your IP frames should now be being sorted into 1st and 2nd class.

Do as instructed by your "manager" if they say just do the tracked then do that.

(obviously it would be an idea to band any mail with the parcels)

We've been picking first class out of failing walks since last year. Obviously at Christmas the rules changed and it was tracked only. Since then back to it. Putting the whole walk in to then do the redirections and then check every letter for first class to then drive around doing it are all ridiculous wastes of time. Often you're made to take it even if they know full well there's no chance of doing it.

Yes this was also changed ages ago and the office layout was done so it all follows on. Vertical prep, although I know some hate it in my opinion is a good change. Double slots and reduced top space due to wings removal are not so good.

Manual letters and flats should be arriving at your DO with 1C and 2C in separate trays (it should also be the case for outward MC to inward MC as well).

Why is picking out 1st class letters crazy? If a 'walking' duty isn't going out it makes perfect sense to meet the USO by taking 1C letters.
