I'd say so, packets are the future with letter delivery duties being rundown.
Also, they wouldn't have spent money on updating the DPR systems if it wasn't staying.

Not sure I'm reading it right, but my understanding is that anything bigger than a shoe box is going to Parcel Force? If that happens then we won’t need DPR except for LAT’s and Sunday

Format 3 is shoebox and above. Format 4 is microwave size and above approximately.

Only 4s going to PF apparently although some MC and PF depots haven't got the capacity/drivers to do it so not all units are losing their 4s yet.
