It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

It's taken them 20 days to decide this. Over a month before ballot papers land. Nearly 2 months before we get a result. Why?

You seem very optimistic that it will be a yes vote personally I'm not sure on that

Back pay. They do this with every deal they negotiate because always without fail it’s abysmal. This deal is the same. Sadly it will get voted through and Ward will get another boost to his ridiculously large ego because it “has the backing of the members”
Anyway this pay deal is the least of our worries, much more important is whatever garbage they agree for us on the USO changes.

The ballot is not simply about pay. Its a ballot on parts 1 and 2 of the never ending agreement. The headline here is a bit misleading.

Not necessarily if everyone looks beyond the back pay and think what year 2 and 3 means we will be at minimum wage or pence above it.just saying

And it's purely an electronic vote. Here goes the CWU executive doing whatever it wants without asking the members. Get that union in the bin.

That headline really needs changing to electronic vote on parts 1 and 2.
