They will drag it out as long as possible. There is no good reason they cant get the ball rolling now. They want to tour the offices to sell it. They want you to be so exhausted with the process that you vote yes just to be done with it.

100% - this is going to drag on for ages as usual until everyone is sick of it - repeat the process again and again as usual

If they didn't do that, everybody would accuse them of making us vote on something we know nothing about. So they can't win, can they?

What are the options to vote on? Will it be payrise yes or no? Obviously it’s not a great rise but we aren’t exactly gonna strike again so might as well just bring it in and give us the backpay.

The longer they wait, the bigger the back payment will be. Nice little carrot the union can wave at everyone

I think I've seen it mentioned before that approx 10,000 leave naturally every year. So that's roughly 200 per week, so probs a few more than 500!

Only the thick will see it as a carrot, when you're getting the same as if it was paid from April.

Exactly. This isnt a bonus. This is my money that I should have been earning since April. The difference being instead of it being sat in my bank account collecting interest or being put to what ever use I decide its sat in RMs being held hostage.
