Hi,m I'm Alan, just been made redundant from another job, and managed to get a position with RM. It is very daunting, with my job (Post person with Driving 30 hrs) due to start in less than two weeks; there's a lot of negative comments on here, people complaining about conditions, hours, pay, and booking holiday etc.
Whereas I was quite excited to start, now I'm worried it's going to be a nightmare.

You will be fine, keep your head down and take it one day at a time.
Also, give yourself a couple of weeks to settle in.

Re: Starting Soon
Good luck, just finished my third week, I've still got aches and feel tired most of the days, but that's prob due to my age.. the job isn't all that bad, you will be floating around on diff walks, but you will be with a regular postie who knows what they are doing.. I doubt you will get a dedicated work coach, I was promised one but never did.. if it's like our place you will spend more time delivering parcels than anything.. Hope it goes well for you
