Urgent: Rejected from machine at outward MC

Apologies if this topic has been covered several times over, but I have dispatched this item a week ago , 48hrs Royalmail tracked, only to find this error msg: Rejected from machine at outward MC - it's been rejected at least 4-5 times as of yesterday. I've checked the address details and it all seems to be fine. I used a padded envelop and so far all my dispatched items (10+ items), have been successfully sent. Understandably the receiver is quite irrate. Please advise on my next steps , as the machine has already rejected the item several times, and had I not checked, no one had communicated this to me, or returned the item or said what I should do next. Please advise. Thank you
