Whilst I'm annoyed that the Union have capitulated and turned almost full circle to Royal Mail's vision it would be a big mistake to leave the CWU at this point. Without a union the company would have pushed absolutely everything at us and we wouldn't have any voice in the workplace. You might think that they have done that anyway - but I believe things could have been much, much worse.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

I've voted no already emailed cwu to cancel subs I'll fight my own battle against bullying management I'm just not going to pay anymore towards DW and cronies salaries
Whichever way the vote goes changes will and are already happening

Imagine how bad this job would be without union representation?

People would be getting sacked on a weekly basis, our sick pay would be vastly reduced and management bullying would be at an all time high.

Will probably be called a sell out and a union shill for saying that but it’s the reality. I get why people aren’t happy with the agreement but change is coming regardless.

There wont be any point of being in the cwu we aint gonna win any more fights with royal mail they will do whatever they want with us anyone thinking the cwu will have any power in royal mail are sadly deluded the end is near
