Is there ANYTHING good about this agreement?

Post by sindba »

I suppose a 6% rise this year is ok-ish.

Everything else looks terrible to me. 4.30 finishes, PDA performance management, getting rid of prep frames, no sick pay, brutal attendance procedure, annualised hours (effectively), 2% rise next year etc etc.

How are the Union going to sell this to us? There must be SOME positives? Anyone...?

Edit: I'll try list them...
1) no typos
2) allowances staying

It seems to be largely free from typographical errors.

Fleets payrise looks ok. Can’t see any other positives however I don’t work in Fleet.

Not one single positive thing in the entire document. No bloody wonder they were mute about what was going one.

This is shameful.

The resulting no vote(hopefully) may signal the end of Wards self serving incompetent leadership of the union. That’s about the only positive I see.

We still get a boat load of mail Tues to Sat. How do we prep it without a frame? Redos d2ds turning for packets. How is this achievable without a structured sorting frame

I am not a union member but i am in genuine disbelief at this, its absolutely awful, how the union can even offer this to the members to vote on is incredible. royal mail have completely outplayed them. i imagine all the member who were saying keep faith in cwu and arguing for them feel pretty stupid right now
