The difference is, people are affected by the rail strikes, they aren’t by ours.I have a bad feeling we are going nowhere in this dispute, I’m not blaming the CWU, I don’t think they could call us out on a prolonged strike, especially when there’s a cost of living crisis.

Ward will get us half that % with all the changes we don’t want tagged onto the deal, and we will be told how brilliant a deal it is because Royal Mail is facing financial oblivion.

Royal Mail is in a much better financial state than the railways. We taxpayers will end up funding RMTs pay rise because the train operators would hand their franchises to the government and say they can't afford it.

Let's not blow too much smoke up the RMTs arse, their dispute started in June, members have given up a lot of money, and, we don't know what concessions they've made to secure the pay rise. It's also a two year deal, so it's 5 and 4.

They're still in dispute with the train operators by the way, so more strikes are on the cards.

Any offer put to CWU members would go through on a similar level of support.
