Well…..115,000 workers who staunchly backed the strikes are sat waiting for the big deadline “Update”

Are we really expected to wait our turn so the “Deal” can be “put before” the “illustrious” & “Pontificating” Postal Executive Committee?

They meet on tuesday afternoons so why?

So they don’t have their feathers ruffled or noses put out of joint?

Maybe your unit Rep/s have designs on making it onto the “Postal Executive Commitee”?

They couldn’t be bothered to come on here and keep us informed and basically “Done the off”

The amount of stress and the uncertainty surrounding all this us beyond belief To simply post an update Friday saying talks are still progressing and we are confident a deal can be strick or there are quite a few points we disagree on and will extend the deadline fie a week .How hard is that to at least jeep the members kind of informed so they could switch off at ghe weekend instead of constantly being on here looking for morals of information. Plus would anybody be surprised ro hear we have to tune in a 5pm or 7pm etc etc .

Totally agree, I’m surprised at all those who don’t seem to grasp the fact that an update however short was expected on or before yesterday. An informed membership is a less irritated one

Union made it clear there would be no updates before entering these talks , having said that the deadline has now expired so I would expect an update this evening.

There was a time when the PEC stood up to the decisions made by the Top Table being independent, unfortunately now it is a simple rubber stamp job.

It does not help when you have members on both the PEC and NEC voting on these agreements.(Conflict of Interest)

Non of them give a s**t about us really. The union is a big club and the higher up the ladder you go the more lazy
and feckless the individuals become in those positions. I hope the wise elders of the PEC deem it appropriate for us to have an update before the end of today.

Listen, when they gave the joint statement they said, they had a target of March 12th to reach a deal, not one single solitary f****r believed they would get a deal in about 8 days that they had failed to get in what? 8 months? There isn't going to be a deal, there is going to be one enormous union capitualion dressed up to look like a win. Win the ballot win the dispute was it? I f**king hate slogans, they get me an enormous droop where you shouldn't droop. The company is apparently on the verge of going into administration, good, at least we will all get statuatory redundancy and the board will go down in history for destroying the oldest company in the UK.
