Anything less than backdated to April last year should be rejected most full timers at 9% would be due around £1700.

I don't care. They can agree on what they want. The s**t is here to stay. Never worked for a worse employer. That was symbolised by the god awful, insulting,cheap lapel pin for 10 years service I got in 2021. Sent out in the blizzards today with a "use your dynamic risk assessment" soundbite from the DLM. The only good thing to come out of this whole s**t, awful mess is the men talk to each other in the morning breaks which more of us take now. That is it.

Probably be a two year deal spanning April 2022- March 2024. Around the 7% region possibly back dated for this year, then another 3 or 4 % next month.
Later starts but not much later to begin with, with a finish time.
No commit to deliver, but shorter weeks in quieter months and longer when busier.
Sick pay will move to full pay first sickness, then no pay for first 3 days after.
No compulsory Sundays.

General thoughts from my DO....
5-7% payrise, maybe backdated to October and definitely with a plea of poverty to staff and the media
Start times pushed back a max of 30 mins if at all, with intent to push them further back later.
Attempt to make the hours longer in winter, shorter in summer... Only last as long as it takes to notice that shorter hours in summer means longer leave for those that can book it, so more overtime being paid to cover the duties.
No compulsory Sundays, anyone with them already in contracts get to do even more of them. Yay.
Sick pay reduced slightly
Immediate screwing over of the staff from on high the day the "deal' happens

I think most of those seem right. Everything RM wanted in is in, so the sticking point will be the pay. I don’t think Annualised hours was ever going to be implemented as it had so many hurdles to jump before it could legally be pushed on us. I think it was some weird managers idea that was thought and some at the top ran with it, without seriously thinking of the logistics.
I think most of us can agree that the sickness needs to be addressed. We have a colleague at our office who has had over 300 days of sickness and childcare time off and is still in a job, ( and everyone knows he’s skiving as he tells everyone) but what they are thinking is very unfair to the majority of the workforce.
I think that the job is over as we know it and we all have to decide wether it’s time to leave, which is a shame as most of us either came or stayed because of the lifestyle it gave us.
