How many have seriously looked at it?

VR was over subscribed in our office and since then loads have handed in their notice and I mean good people with 20ys+ in, sad to see frankly.

I myself am seriously looking at it, 25ys in and I've never ever known it like this soul destroying and to be honest it's only going to get worse.

Yeah, with some of the things i've seen the company do as of late, i just think, why would you want to work for a company who treats its staff like it is doing? Especially the ones who have dedicated the majority of their working life to the company.

I already have! Left 3 weeks ago after almost 21 years. It’s early days so time will tell if I’ve made the right choice or not but the company I’ve joined seem a hell of a lot more professionally run and I feel a lot fresher for it! Good luck if you decide to go for it!

It's a real shame it's got like this but I guess it was always on the cards since privatisation.

Been for two interviews in the last few weeks,my first in 20yrs,was offered one the roles almost immediately & the other a few days later but turned both down.

Will stay put for the time being & see what happens - must admit leaving without a pay off after such a long service does irk me a bit,especially as I am now looking at going down the retraining route

For anyone thinking of jumping ship with a long or medium service I will say that any potential employers will look at your time with the company extremely favourably. Working on the post is still considered a very prestigious job by many. All of the people interviewing me were shocked that I was even considering leaving. Of course they don’t know all the shite that ST & his cronies are doing to our heads…

First things first though, there's a company to save / destroy. It's up to RM which they want to see happen.
