Ive not voted yet, leaving it last min, was a bit dissapointed in cwu during last round of strikes, considering how much money us members have lost to these strikes how many saturdays did we strike? what did we have 18 to 20 days of strikes, i can only think of 1 or 2 saturdays max we striked, you would think if cwu valued and listened to their members they would put in more saturdays as strike days give the guys a weekend off to spend to go see a football match or whatever, was a lot of wednesday, thursday, fridays, go on union give us some saturdays off least u can do

A strike day should not be viewed as a day off. You should at least be at the picket and on top of that u really should be prepared to go to work that day if anything was to happen last minute. The queen dying should have shown you how things can change!

If RM get their way letter deliveries will be Monday to Friday so you can have every Saturday off

The strikes should be 18/5-22/5. That’s when I’m going on holidays. (Joke) You can’t pick and choose. But I agree. We (the workers) have lost all that money. Union bosses and company bosses are A OK with their massive salaries. I seriously can not afford to lose any more money. I have voted yes though but seeing how things play out as to wether I strike or not.

Its a tough one.of course no one wants to lose money and we’ve lost a lot during the strike but i personally would vote yes again because we all need to continue to stay strong on this and its as important as ever.i think thompson will be assuming due to our frustration that fewer would vote yes this time but we cant let this happen.if there is say a 97% yes vote then that would show our unity and strength in this and that we wont be pushed over.

Thats the view of a lot of guys in my office including me.

If we have to lose money at least make it worthwhile make it saturday then after picket line you have weekend with your family without being knackered and falling asleep in front of telly at 9 o'clock.

I think this vote will be a eye opener into how people are getting sick of the strikes now. People i hav spoke with dont know what to decide either. Dont be fooled by the militant posties on twitter and the live saying 'YES IM WITH MY UNION' . Not sure what id prefer the result to be as i would be working either way

You are not a union member, so this is one thread where your view is completely and utterly irrelevant. You aren't prepared to pay to have your chance to have a say on the union's actions.

I see a lot of politicians and political commentators calling people who are trying to protect their jobs and t+c's militant, the inference being they bad people intent on bringing the government down. And yes I am with my union, waste of money if not

Works both ways though, if he has no say in union actions , union members should have no say in non union members working which a lot seem to do with their childish actions like refusing to speak to them
