Having a long undeserved xmas break after getting smashed by RM i assume lol. Seriously though they probably thinking up a new plan but what other choices are there? Striking is not working and just losing members money which will get less support. Maybe Work to rule? But that is hard to implement and isnt as easy as a picket out front to stop people crossing. Seriously what is the next choice? I get long term disruption is the goal of IA but EA is being put through without the union cooperation anyway. Meanwhile RM are pushing through EA anyway agency will deal with any backlog.

I would guess no more IA until the next ballot in which they propose their new plan which gets less support than the first ballot but still goes through and the roundabout continues.

The only shareholders that really matter are the shareholders with the majority interest. VESA are on board with the current capitulation of the business along with the board who are backing Thompson 100%.

If two day strike action didn't work over Christmas when mail volumes are ten times higher, that'll never work.

I just can't see what else can be done. We're very much over a barrel.

I believe a breathing space is needed for members to get over the hit of December strikes. Many members went back to work on strike days and main reason was financial.

Also the weeks without strike action leave RM in a predicament as agency staff are not needed in many DOs as workload decreases post peak pressure. RM need agency for strike days but not really for now, if offices are clearing.

The silence usually means talks are ongoing and there is agreement for radio silence on both sides.

No business has a future if it can't guarantee what it does.
If I A is restarted it should force Slyman to the negotiating table.

.... who are these losers who put limp posts?
Possibly people who are worried about having lost £1000 with no clear strategy for the new year.
Possibly people who are now feeling the effects of RM executive action with no advice from the CWU.

Who are these people who seek to stop any criticism of the CWU?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

100% agree, when we get another rock solid yes vote watch all the naysayers go slithering back under their rocks, Joe 90 will get the sack and we'll hear no more from the usual suspects

He won't be sacked, he's doing exactly as he's told.
When we get back to striking in March/April what will we be hoping to achieve, RM will have done all that they want to by then, they won't change it back so what is the aim
