Change ballot runs out on 17th (or maybe 23rd) jan.
14 days notice required for new strike dates, it is now the 2nd of january.
New ballot results will be announced feb 13th then 14 days notice required for new strike dates, only 28 days in feb so absolute earliest new strike date will be 28th feb or basically MARCH!
Virtually nobody is going to start striking again in march after a 2 month hiatus.
A period of executive action more like
We should have had ballot running consecutively with action
Always on the back foot it seems
Aside from a couple of posts on twitter (probably from some PR intern working from home) the CWU seem to have packed up for a long xmas break.
The cwu twitter utterly embarrasses members and posties. Responding childishly to low effort trolls etc. Loosk childish. And there recent post of graffiti on a postbox saying 'up the cwu' is the icing
No one seems to care about cage being closed. cwu never mentioned it ? All they care about is new staff (which there isn't any)
We need more progress nothing has moved and we are just getting all the changes

Cage? You mean the SD locker ?
Our cage team have to porter for the first 4hrs of the nightshift, only allowed back to the cage from 2am-6am, they lost 60% of their work when the international tracked & signed for was taken away and thrown in the PSM. Heard the whole SD locker will be gone soon.

Our SD locker apart from the person who sets it up and does the very early stuff, all the staff are out on the floor doing either packets or Tracked. They're not in the locker until they return from lunch. When the foreign specials started going via Tracked, a duty got taken out the locker. If RM ever did increase the availability of Tracked, I think we'd see a massive drop in the usage of SD. I reckon a good few people using SD do so for the tracking, if they've not got the option of using Tracked open to them

Our ‘cage’ has closed now. Customers either have to redeliver or have it delivered to neighbour.

They reply to the trolls but won't reply to serious questions like wtf are they doing about the executive actrion being forced in removing walks and where's the strike fund that they keep asking people to donate to.

I barely look at their twitter now. Having photos of picket Lines with captions like “Look who’s joining us!” When it’s just some bloke dressed as Santa or postman pat or someone who had take no their dog to the picket.
And I don’t know why they reply to the trolls. They should answer some of the genuine concern it’s members have.
