Well at least the queen was dignified in her comments during her rule yet we have a pillock of a CEO who thinks the death of the Queen IS GRATEFUL intervention myself she led our nation and deserves more respect than one cockend of a CEO!

Simon seems to be doing his level best to antagonise the workforce and my gut feeling is that he wants to leave anyway.

But he's really not the man that the CWU want to discuss business with. Its the organ grinder and Chairman of Royal Mail, not the "instant gratification monkey" putting out tweets and pointless workspace comments.

Simon seems to be doing his level best to antagonise the workforce and my gut feeling is that he wants to leave anyway.

And thats the problem. You can't negotiate with people who are not telling the truth about their future plans for the company. All Simon seems to be doing is winding us posties up. He has taken the bait by accepting his massive bonus and could well be surplus to requirements as and when the time comes. The recent letter he sent out to us all isn't worth the paper its written on and its only my opinion but he's using stalling tactics whilst other negotiations over a possible takeover of Royal Mail are taking place in the other room. We know this because the government are actually investigating this company under a national security act. Do the government really believe that the Royal Mail is still part of the key infrastructure of the UK? Or will the public stand up with us in support of a postal service where they still receive letters and parcels?

Hearing lot of areas failing walks same amouts as covid period !!
heard depot failed 17 last week !!
Lack of staff-loss of experienced full timers re IPS leaving/retired etc and not replaced
How are things in your area

The "public" and the "Government" are different things, don't conflate them.

The public are with us, the Government are with Si - they paid him stacks of our cash for his dismal test and trace failure after all.

I think it is also The Sphinx's links to Russia especially with his owning a bigger share of RM that is the worry. Imagine further down the line it is discovered he is financed by Russia?

I’m I’m in a small office, 15 deliveries. Most days only half of them get completed. Lack of recruitment and a few off sick due to the stress caused by the revisions/poor management.
