Impact 'up' the chain.

Post by ConeHater »

Friday must have been an expensive day. I chose to go into work and found myself at the National Distribution Centre ( such joy ). Imagine cost of creating a second Network of LGV contractors, transporting work from customers to the Parcel Sorting Centres ( which have been re-opened and staffed by Agency ) and then on to the Mail Centres, and then to have to pay those that came into work - rather than have unpaid leave - as well.

Seemed like all RM staff who would normally be in on nights were in and about the normal sort of amount of casuals that I'd expect. AFAIK all shifts cleared

Are you a Delivery Office GA? ... And your Managers paying staff to come in on Sunday to clear the back log?

Very surprising that Posties would go for it, but then we've got people that are willing to cross a picket line ... AND IT'S THEIR DAY OFF FFS! :cuppa

I would have loved that :left: But he did get paid, and to add insult to injury there wasn't anything to do so he got paid for sitting around on his ass doing nothing! Unbelievable :cuppa
