Should we be wearing our uniform on the picket line?

We’ve been told no uniforms to be worn.

Never seen any mention of not being allowed to wear uniform, not in the government picket guidelines not the managers brief.

What would they do if you turned up for work but changed your mind at the last second? Force you to go home and get changed to join the picket? It also helps identify us (without providing ID) as employees, disgruntled or not.

You'd just look like some random people loitering with no uniform. The aim is to give Royal Mail a bad image for forcing employees into a corner. Stand on the line and wave and smile :thumbup

We have a local councillor & local press attending our Fridays picket, our Dom saying no one should be photographed wearing RM uniform while not attending work?

Don't worry you can't get hold of any anyway.

Just don't turn up in a van or you'll look like you're ready to do some loops.
