All mails will now be delivered to Delivery Offices in Scotland on Friday. A tiny workforce will attempt to deliver premium products. Expect rocketing customer complaints.
On return to work on Saturday mail will be in the Unit for delivery. This may be subject to change if the wind shifts direction.

I heard a rumour that the CMA advised their members that they would be supported in walking out if they were asked to do non-management duties.
Can't see that being true. There was mention in a past thread that RM might have had a document that they could use against the CMA that would have made any past agreement between the CMA and RM null and void

I think this might be why RM have had a sudden u-turn
They might have realised that it was a bit harder than 'have managers fill all the roles' and backtracked in the face of how much they've managed to lose manager goodwill and how much fuss they can kick up without even refusing to cross a picket line.
Put it this way...any "substantive manager" who refuses to do blue collar work will no doubt be "remembered" by those above post strike. Any with aspirations (and there are those who have them) will have written their own obituary regarding progression.
