Wait, what? This ballot is just about pay and not the proposed changes?

Even if we got 6/7%, that'll cover my petrol cost increase only, ignoring overtime. This is why i think fighting for more money is useless as winter energy cost is going to be the killer for me and many others, and i'd rather not be shafted on T&C losses for a few quid extra that will be wiped out anyway.

I thought it was awesome the BBC mentioned RR workers/union have rejected it and then mentioned Royal Mail workers are balloting to strike as they only got offered 2%.

Definitely helps our cause. Our offer is an absolute pittance.

Only during the pandemic but we did not have it as they capitulated before hand and got 1.5% and an hour of the working week.

It is not just about a pay rise it is as if the whole government has decided to smash unions in the UK and take us to the 1920 italian government of Benito Mussolini. These are dangerous times for all who work for a living not just union people or members of a union or a political party Labour/Green/Lib Dem even UKIP this guy is a despot who will not relinquish power!

I'm convinced - but not by this - which quite frankly, is lamentable in terms of its delivery. Come on CWU, this is the 21st Century. You need to be way more professional than this. Prepare a proper press release, and deliver it to camera professionally.

RM are way ahead of you having announced that the CWU turned down 5.5%!
