Ok, the original vote poll had 1000+ votes and 26% voted no to the deal.
This vote on having a vote has had 300+ votes and again 75% want to vote.
On that basis the only logical conclusion is that the CWU is undemocratic - you can have a vote but only if you vote YES to the deal - otherwise we are pulling it.
The pretext that "our members must see RM 'behaving well' before they can vote is condescending. We are not kids.
RM behaving well was never originally balloted for - certain managers (thankfully not mine now) are irredeemable bullying sociopaths - that is an internal culture issue - it will not be cleared up any time soon even with the best will in the world (doubtful anyway) on the part of RM senior management.
So what are we waiting for? A culture change before we get to vote? We'll be waiting a long time!
This website is a minuscule sample size. The majority care far less than we do, be it pro or anti the deal, so it is hard to judge any sort of trends from either votes so far.

Not really.....both get the same £12,570 personal tax allowace but the person on £60k will also be paying 40% tax on some of that. The gross may well be double but the net certainly isn't. Take home will roughly be £24,400 and £43,800 using those figures. Regardless of income people also tend to build a lifestyle around theirs so it may be just as difficult for the higher paid person to strike.

Still very unsure on how I will vote, what are the main reasons people have decided to vote yes or no.. later starts and finishing later is a big one for me, but if they are stopping flights to save money or by going green, then a yes or no vote, will make no difference. Another big issue for me is the workload and pressure from management to get it done,5 hours plus out on delivery takes it out of you,. Over 40 year's in the job, so not as fast as I wish I was.

It is also a fact that the most vocal in any debate are not necessarily representative of the majority. That's a fact in any setting whether it's on social media or in your office.
This forum has a long and distinguished history of predicting the result of every agreement ballot and getting it woefully wrong.
That is because the silent majority tend towards accepting the agreement, as a side note most of them stay silent because of the obnoxious behaviour of a lot of people who disagree with them, just saying.
Let us wait until or indeed if a ballot is concluded before we decide what the delivery members stance is.
