ignoring the clearing the back log created by the strikes and it seems parcels are well down on last year.

Hardly surprising is it when people can barely afford food/gas/electricity, they won't be buying random tat off ebay.

I think RM is in trouble long term unless they can get on top of the expenditure on staff, year on year other firms like DPD, Evri, DHL, UPS, Fedex, Yodel will start taking more and more market share and if they can do it cheaper and better people will use them, that's the reality.

Not sure customers just want the cheapest option when it comes to parcels, they want the reliable option at a reasonable price, knowing a parcel will reach a customer is more important than saving a few pence and it arriving late or even never.

You'd better get in there lads and do them for copyright infringement (or something equally legal sounding).

There is a Facebook group on there that has the same name as us-I tried to get the admin on there to change the name but he's a bit of a knob and refused.

It's not their expenditure on staff that will kill them it's their poor management of resources.

How much overtime is your office pissing away every day because every day is tackled like a firefight?

Multiply that by 1200 or so, add in the shambles of mailcentre management and distribution and you'll see where the pot has its holes.

Our basic pay, terms and conditions aren't the problem, it's the stuff the managers should have control of that is.
