We might well not have a job worth doing in 2 years if we don't accept the offer, it's not like RM are going to say:

"We've lost the war, let's forget the revisions, reinstate all the suspended union reps and increase the pay rise by a few %"

More likely they'll impose even harsher revisions and suspend even more staff.

It's far more likely that you won't have a job worth doing in 2025 when this current "agreement" expires if you show now that you have no appetite for a fight. In 2 years time RM will introduce absolutely everything that they have backed away from now, along with a whole lot more. The union will continue to concentrate on protecting the union ahead of the members of the union.

Now is your very last chance to fight if you want a long term job worth doing.

Me. I think that the sell-out will gain a narrow victory in the ballot. The screws will be let off the leash to persecute anyone who stands up for themselves, and the union will continue to collect your subs for doing sweet FA going forward. That's why I jumped ship. Anyone with any sense will get out sooner rather than later for the sake of their own mental health. Only those suckers who lack the self confidence to do so, will stay to be ground down under the jackboot of Thompson's lackeys.
