I’m assuming the WTL about turning the wheel into the kerb wasn’t attended by this strikebreaker/manager....

TBF when you're facing uphill you turn your wheel away from the kerb (which is what appears to be the case in the picture) as
per the SOP, this means that if the van starts to roll backwards the front end of the van will hit the kerb first hopefully stopping it in its tracks.

When you face downhill then you turn into the kerb and the same effect should occur.

Ah yes, didn’t notice they were facing uphill.
