Re: The vote is in : 75.8% yes
I'm surprised how high the result was to be honest but regardless of the result the changes were gonna come in. 75.8% though!!! WOW. I didn't see that coming. Alot of people who have been running their mouths off here, on Twitter or in the offices have clearly been talking muck!!!!!!

I voted no so at least when I whinge about all the s**t that is about to be flung at us I know that I didn’t endorse it. Be interesting to see who the CEO is who is due to be announced over the next week. I bet it’s a union basher coming in to land the final knockout blow to the union, although some would argue that’s already happened.

Re: The vote is in : 75.8% yes
I think a lot of people have just given up on the union? I voted no but had little faith that the union could do any better as I suspect many people thought?
That lump sum won't go far for all those poor sods that will have to pay more child care once the later finishes kick in!
I guess the lump sum will cover half what I lost striking but that's hardly something to sing about and no doubt we'll all lose more than that amount in sick pay over the next few years? Of course now that sick pay has officially been accepted as an open target I would not be surprised if that gets eroded even further in the very near future!
Well done Turkeys you got your pot of silver enjoy it while it lasts!

There must be a few militant members realising their colleagues just said they were voting No to humour them.

Re: The vote is in : 75.8% yes
I was a bit worried that it might be a NO vote and all the uncertainty that would bring.
So this is something we can at least move forward with.
I didn’t get to vote but 75% is massive, much larger than I expected.
I hope the CWU now go after the low letterboxes and other issues they can actually help with.

It was never going to be a no vote once the Union leadership accepted it FB. A no vote would have been disastrous for the Union leadership so they had to pull out all the stops. Credit to them, but what next?? Half of the members are clearly disillusioned as proven by the non voters.
