How long will it be before higher up order the COM to re-implement the revisions?

We are a few weeks before going live with our revision and word is that we are going to have to lose more rounds from the office. The first revision is already going to be unachievable so I literally have no idea where those hours are going to come from.

We have gone live and i've never seen so many large parcels left all week,its ironic they want to be a parcels business but we are delivering the mail and leaving tracked parcels,by the time they realise its one big mess they won't have any contracts left.

Our office is the opposite! Not a tracked/standard Parcel to be seen! Tons and tons of mail though everywhere just left, total disgrace bits only go out when a customer complains.

What is the process for cutting off in your office? Our revision is due to go live soon, and it would be interesting to get some clarification. We’ve had people conduct coded (one dismissed) for bringing back mail this way. In the past, we always would inform beforehand if we couldn’t complete and only take enough out to fill our time. Is it national policy to bring mail back now instead?

In my office, we don't inform the manager if we are cutting off. We used to but it got so bad, now we just bring it back fill out a form stating how much we have bought back and put it back in the frame.

Dont even bother taking the full round out anymore.
Just tell the COM how much you can deliver till your finish time and leave the rest in the frame

Probably over 50% and around 70% what I'd class as part failures on a Saturday. One lad came back from 3 weeks annual leave to find none of the letters had gone out, just the packets/tracked.

Our revision is a joke as well as they're bringing it in in stages so only a handful of us have extra calls and even then it's not a fair split. Still we're working to our time and that's all we can do. Just told to rotate the bits we leave and make sure and clear all the tracked. Strange as I'm sure I heard the 3 stooges in front of the parliamentary committee saying that we don't prioritise tracked.

Surely the failed revisions need to be sorted out. Cwu need to address the issue ASAP.

i don't know why people are still getting stressed out about cut off procedures etc, just do what u can, in my situation my partner been off sick for 3 months, manager doesnt bother covering my partner so i take a few loops and clear all the parcels both side, repeat process each day, don't even speak to my manager about it whats the point, half a walk both are failing who cares, work to time, do ur own thing, not ur fault they cant staff the bloddy place

Same as me and my partner ,we just rotate each day and leave all tracked on other frame,sometimes the bosses take them out sometimes they dont,and we never speak to the boss just do our own thing to time.

All I can say is that it is just as well that Royal Mail don't place any great emphasis on the Universal Service Obligation

What have OFCOM done about the issues raised by the PC, absolutely nothing by the looks of things, why haven't they sent in hit squads to the DO's who've highlighted their concerns, in order to see for themselves if backlogs are being covered up by the RM? It seems nobody is really interested in the USO apart from posties with customers being completely ignored.

OfCom seem to be more bothered about regulating broadband providers and swearing on the TV. I don't think it's very likely that they will leave their plush London offices and start turning up at local delivery offices to witness for themselves frames full of post as that's not how they work.
