Silly end of! childish and delusional not to mention offensive to those of us nowhere near (oh that’s right we don’t really count)
Unfortunately everthing does tend to revolve around London, especially Politics. This Strike certainly has Political aspects. I suppose because both CWU, and RM, have their HQs in London it kind of make sense.

I have even more Respect for colleagues who are willing to travel greater distances to support their Union? There's talk of Members getting flights to come over from NI! :Applause

You also have to realise that Journalists are lazy buggers and don't really like having to travel outside the M25, every Human Interest story you hear seems to be from inside the M25, therefore it'll get more coverage.... :cuppa
I like to avoid travelling inside the M25.

It seems Royal Mail do not want to make a decent offer.... they want to push ahead with this takeover.... diminish the letters service.... they have already signed people up to lesser pay and T&Cs?....

It's going to take a lot to make them reverse everything they are doing and plan to do....

So is this London rally a call out to the government to nationalise Royal Mail more than trying to get them and the public to put pressure on Royal Mail to not go ahead with these changes. What's the difference between the government not preventing the P&O situation and them possibly helping us?

For some reason I cannot make it. Since I'll be losing a days pay again, can you just send me the bus fare, so It can go towards many of my outstanding bills that need paying please.
Cheers

The only protests that get more than a quick mention on the news are the ones that turn violent.
BLM being a good case.
The anti lockdown protest another.

So unless you’re willing to smash some windows and burn police cars you’ll get as much attention as the other protest this year in London that went under the radar.

And those lunatics at Just Stop Oil can hijack any event.

My advice would be to head down to London. Storm the Royal Mail HQ. Take over the official social media accounts and then take a few members of staff hostage. Demand a 10% pay deal with no strings attached or the hostage gets it. But don’t forget to drape rainbow flags from every window and take a knee as well. Woke waffle will also make news if hostage taking/arson doesn’t. And wear Simon Thompson masks. That should do it.

Hundreds of Thousands marched through London protesting the COVID measures.
Complete Media blackout.
Hardly a complete blackout. We watched that crank Piers Corbyn get arrested for 5G Coronavirus conspiracy theory nonsense on more than one occasion.
Or was that the Free Cornwall March? Hard to keep a track of all that lunacy.
Hardly a few…
