i honestly don't know the mechanics in your sector, but in delivery if everyone refused overtime tomorrow it would be absolute chaos friday, and our office (100ish staff) has been cleared every day after a strike simply due to overtime on offer, but this is off topic

RM would just get more casuals in. We occasionally get outnumbered by casuals outside of Xmas pressure. Half a dozen casuals got took on a couple of weeks ago. Generally the only newbies over the last 10 years+ have been posties transferring in from other offices
Its too late we have picked ours,im off those weeks next year no matter what ,ive booked my holidays now.
Well you've got 2 options-
1) hope we win our fight against Royal Mail
2) hope that RM / your manager will be gracious enough to honour pre-booked leave

Or option 3.....leave. Even if an agreement is reached (hugely unlikely), anything agreed will only be until either next year's pay talks, or more executive action, whichever happens first. This is the future, reality check.
My area rep has been in touch with the div and he's been in touch with RM, who are,.. surprise surprise, denying this. The are saying theres no problem with the A/L. I suppose we will know soon enough.
People have picked leave in our office but there is no allocation for annual leave on psp for next year yet so technically, it is not booked. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't tear it up. There was talk of being put into leave groups and each com dealing with the leave for their staff rather than having an office system as now.

Same here. Our COM said 40% of the work in our office needs to be done on OT, it’s a shambolic level.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.
